“Give Peace a Chance no election is worth the blood of any Ekiti man, urging the politicians to gauge their temperaments and curtail their excesses in the interest of the populace. You should let your campaign be issue-based not condemning others. Let the voters know what you have as your agenda for them,” Oba Adejuwon.

Oba Adejuwon also applied to politicians should be accorded the spirit of sportsmanship for Ekiti to survive the present time and maintain its strength, integrity and dignity among the comity of states. As we are fondly known as ILE UYI, ILE EYE.
“It will be a disservice for people to be killed, maimed and the temperature raised just because of occupying the Governorship and other political seats which is temporal.
“We as custodians of culture and tradition as well as peacemakers in our respective domains won’t tolerate any untoward action that could ignite bloodshed “in Ekiti State. Let our youths desist from any acts that can disrupt the peace we are enjoying in our state because of a token to sell your future.
“As we all know that an average Ekiti man is seen, assessed and rated as Omoluabi (mean “Well Behaved Child”), this should be a guide to our people in this season of election. We should also take cognizant of our homogeneity among the diverse ethnic groups in the country, said The Onisan of Isan-Ekiti.
The monarch gave a stern warning to all involved not to take actions that are capable of threatening the bond of unity of our great State.
“I, therefore, warn that no action capable of threatening our bond of unity should be taken in this election in the interest of our present and future generations.
“I also call on meddlesome Interlopers and external forces from other states, who could be interested in Ekiti internal politics to steer clear and allow politicians of Ekiti extraction to determine the political future of Ekiti State.
“We have no other place to call our home other than Ekiti State,” the monarch emphasized.
“I am appealing to all our security agencies to be more active and alert to their responsibility before, during and after the election. So also, INEC should be neutral in their activities with all political parties.
